We designed this blank with steelhead fishing in mind. Living in the Great Lakes region a 9' 7wt. is perfect for many of the rivers where a full spey might be too large. The medium/fast action is excellent for indicator rigs and can even handle a nice range of tips or T14 when you need to get your flies down deep. This is a powerful blank with reserve lifting power and capable of turning fish and throwing sinking lines with ease.
This blank features a dark green finish with a semi-gloss clear coat.
