10' 7wt. (four piece) carbon fiber fly rod blank -single hand/switch-

We designed this blank with steelhead fishing in mind. Living in the Great Lakes region a 10' 7wt. is perfect for many of the rivers where a full spey might be too large. This blank works great both as a single hand rod and as a switch rod. The medium/fast action is excellent for indicator rigs and can even handle a nice range of tips or T14 when you need to get your flies down deep. This is a powerful blank with reserve lifting power and capable of turning fish and throwing sinking lines with ease.
We chose a raw carbon finish with a semi-gloss top coat for the blank. This allows a neutral pallet that opens wide the range of hardware and thread colors that will work. Each blank ships with a silk screened rod sock and a specs. label (you can order a custom label below).
This blank can also be ordered in one of two kits. The first is a single hand configuration that features our Full wells grip and fighting butt. The second is a complete switch rod kit. Be sure to check out our custom line recommendations done by Steve Godshall on the switch kit.
