10' 7wt. carbon fiber fly rod blank single hand kit
We designed this blank with steelhead fishing in mind. Living in the Great Lakes region a 10' 7wt. is perfect for many of the rivers where a full spey might be too large. The medium/fast action is excellent for indicator rigs and can even handle a nice range of tips or T14 when you need to get your flies down deep. This is a powerful blank with reserve lifting power and capable of turning fish and throwing sinking lines with ease.
We chose a raw carbon finish with a semi-gloss top coat for the blank. This allows a neutral pallet that opens wide the range of hardware and thread colors that will work. Each blank ships with a silk screened rod sock and a specs. label (you can order a custom label below).
