9' 7wt. carbon fiber component kit
We brought this blank on by customer request. When a 6wt isn't quite enough and an 8wt. feels like too much a 9' 7wt. is the answer. This blank features a progressive fast action taper. We wanted a blank that was capable of throwing large flies good distance with accuracy. We landed on a fast action (as opposed to ultra-fast action) because with a bit of line out you are able to access the reserve power of the lower sections without compromising accuracy. The blank has good turning power and can really put the pressure on.
The blank is dark green with a semi-gloss clear coat.
This kit comes with all of the components you will need to finish out your rod. The kit includes the following: Blank, rod sock, spec. labels, grip, reel seat, fighting butt, hand fit tip top, hand fit winding check, full set of snake guides, stripping guide, and hook keeper.
