We’ve brought back our popular 13' 7/8wt Spey Rod Kit — now updated with a more travel-friendly 5-piece blank.
This blank features a medium-fast action that performs exceptionally well across a wide range of conditions.
We’ve chosen a raw carbon finish with a semi-gloss top coat, providing a clean, neutral look that pairs well with a wide variety of hardware and thread color combinations. Each kit includes a rod sock and a spec label.
All of our blanks are sent to Steve Godshall, a respected expert who collaborates with the world’s top spey and switch rod/line designers. Steve has tested our blanks thoroughly and provides custom guide spacing and line grain recommendations:

*Due to the butt section’s diameter, we offer five different spey-style "tube" reel seats to ensure a perfect fit. The black nickel seat is shown in the product photo.
