Rod Building Tool & Finish Kit

Everything you need to assemble, wrap, and finish a fly rod, all in one kit.

We've put together the same tools and materials we use in our own shop, including thread finish, measuring and mixing tools, epoxy for attaching the grip and reel seat, and razor blades. It's a straightforward collection of reliable supplies, whether you're building your first rod or setting up a new workspace.

The only additional supply you'll need is a spool of thread.

Choose Your Kit

1. Tools & Supplies Only

All the essential tools and finishing supplies, without a rod wrapper or dryer. A good option if you already have your own wrapping equipment.

2. Tools & Supplies + Sig Jig

Includes everything in the basic kit, plus our simple wooden Sig Jig. Used with a book and coffee cup to provide thread tension, it's an inexpensive and effective way to get started wrapping rods.

3. Tools & Supplies + Proof Rod Wrapper

Includes everything in the basic kit, plus our Proof Rod Wrapper. Designed for a more organized and adjustable wrapping setup, with a modular design that can grow with your needs.

4. Tools & Supplies + Proof Rod Wrapper & Dryer

Our most complete option. Includes all the tools and finishing supplies, the Proof Rod Wrapper, and the Proof Rod Dryer for consistent rotation while your thread finish cures.
