Chrysalis 4wt. 7' 6" three piece fiberglass component kit
Our component kits are hand assembled one at a time. The tip top and metal winding checks are all double checked before anything is packed. With the Proof kits you get complete control over how the rod will look. Select: guide style and color, reel seat hardware and insert, and grip shape. You can even add a set of ferrule rings or a custom label. This kit includes the following: blank, rod sock, labels, spacing card, tip top, full set of guides, hook keeper, winding check, grip, reel seat, and stint.
The Chrysalis 4wt. 7' 6" fiberglass blank features a buttery smooth medium/fast action and quick tip recovery. The Chrysalis features spigot ferrules, a nice compact 3 piece design, and an insect green translucent finish. The Chrysalis is made from continuous filament E-glass. I have been fishing the Chrysalis with both a DT 4wt. line and a DT 5wt. and both work great. I Like a little extra line weight when fishing open water, but prefer the lighter 4wt for small streams. The tippet protection is outstanding and the rod loads beautifully.
Each Chrysalis blank comes with a custom silk screened rod sock and a set of labels (spec. labels and a cigar label featuring the Proof logo). We also include a guide spacing card for easy reference.
